Minus 3 Celsius but it was the wind that ripped through us faithful CFL fans last night. It was a real good game with the Riders winning 27-24 with a field goal as the time ran out. The 107th CFL Grey Cup and four day and night Grey Cup Festival is a mth way!
I’m again looking forward to the Grey Cup Festival and this year it is in Calgary. This will be my 14th, the 1st one being in 1999. I had an amazing time, the CFL media pass was great to have. I even ended up in the victorious Hamilton Tiger-Cats locker rooms after their win.
Can the Tiger-Cats win it this year, 20 years on and their 1st since 1999, they are a good chance to. They will finish 1st in the East and will play the winner of the Montreal Alouettes vs Edmonton Eskimos. The Eskimos have a better record than the 3rd team in the East and thus get the crossover to the CFL East Finals.
The CFL West will be fought out between the Calgary Stampeders, Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Riders or the Stamps can still get 1st place in the West so it will be a interesting final week of the CFL regular season this coming weekend.
